Continuation of Claims Service - COVID-19

Claims Service Update

We our continuing to manage and deal with all incoming claims. We have taken the decision to have our members of staff work from home where possible. This will mean that when ringing our office that phones are likely on occasion to ring through to voicemail, however our staff will be receiving these and will come back to you as soon as they can.

Claims Payments

We have made the decision to withdraw the facility to make claims payments via cheque. As the majority of our staff are working from home, moving to BACS payments will give us greater flexibility to meet client needs.

Claims Validation

Over the last week or so we have seen loss adjusters increasingly using mobile services and applications to validate claims. This is to avoid any unnecessary travel or contact with customers, particularly where the customer is vulnerable. This has allowed for claims to be validated and processed as quickly as possible in the current circumstances. 

To support your business, at a time where you will be making changes to respond to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, we are recommending that our clients, and all claimants, download the 'Morrison Insurance Claims App' so that they are also able to submit claims as efficiently and safely as possible. If you would like some guidance around our App, please do not hesistate to contact your Account Executive or a member of our Claims Team.

In addition to this, we have also created some short webinars and a PDF documents to guide you through the setup of the App and submitting a claim.
